OCBC 2010

Well i went to the start line late and started at the back of the first wave.

Started conservatively. saw ppl entangled in the start.2km down, spotted about 5 ANZA dudes and followed them all the way.

Issac was in my pack also. He tried to make the pack go faster but the angmohs did not want to chase. So issac went back into the pack wif me.

Witness a couple of crashes, prolly frm the first pack with amreet was with. Heard riding in the first pack was hell. Very dangerous riding resulted in 3 major crashes.

First pack was about 53 mins, 2nd pack about 56-57 mins, if i had went to the start line early n started with the first pack , i would likely be 53 mins plus too, but likely i would have gotten into one of those crashes.

So God had a reason for me in the second pack.Finishing in one piece is more impt

compact crank

So my idol actually reads my blog and is thinking of getting a compact crank.
"enlighten me on how a compact crank with a huge ass cassette = hopeless please. cos im thinking of changing to compact crank so... am i hopeless??
"

Given his 1400 watts ability, a 11-23 or 11-21(if can find) cassette would suit him well. A decent ride would be able to climb fable in the 23t at fable with a compact crank.in fact i do in in 19t,only hopeless ppl need a 25 or 27t

But then given that he is so fast and powerful, a pity his small chain ring would remain new as it wont be called into service of the power legs.
